1 cup each of Raisins, Dates, Prunes, Pecans,Walnuts, & Coconut
Honey

Run the Dates, Prunes, & Raisins thru a food processor, finely chop the walnuts & pecans. This can be
done in a small food chopper. MIx the nuts with the fruit adding, adding the shredded Coconut.
Moisten all with a small amount of Honey and place in a mold. Truly a great tasting Fruit cake. I never
did like Fruit cakes they gave at Christmas when I was a young, but I love this one, so do all my
grandchildren and great grandchildren. My seven year old great granddaughter told her mom that
grandma Dena has the bestest food. That is what they call out of the mouths of babes.

SESAME BARS made w/all organic products http://rawliciousrecipes.com/sesame-bars-made-wall-organic-products/ http://rawliciousrecipes.com/sesame-bars-made-wall-organic-products/#comments Wed, 11 Aug 2010 00:51:43 +0000 admin http://rawliciousrecipes.com/?p=130 Dena Garrison

6 tablespoons organic Maple Syrup
1 cup Sesame Seeds
1 cup Sunflower Seeds
1/2 cup Currants or small Raisins
1/2 cup chopped Pecans
1/2 cup sliced Almonds
1/4 cup Pumpkin Seeds
1/2 cup grated unsweetened Coconut
1/2 cup Carob Chops (non dairy)
Mix all dry ingredients together first, then add Maple Syrup, and stir until everything is well coated. The
mixture will not stick together, but remain pretty loose. Then using a regular tablespoon (not a
measuring) form a rounded oval of the mix and put on a teflon sheet. Place in dehydrator at 100
degrees and they are done in an hour. If you don’t have a dehydrator place on a cookie sheet and allow
to sit overnight. These are really good, and stay nice and dry, not sticky. This recipe makes 46-50 bars
or ovals.
